Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain excellent high-frequency characteristics by preventing a transmission line from coming in electric contact with a shielding board by providing the shielding board between a microwave IC and waveguide and then by providing a low-loss dielectric at one part of the shielding board. CONSTITUTION:Shielding board 15 is provided in order to prevent microwave energy, generated by microwave semiconductor element 5, dielectric resonator 6, frequency adjusting board 7, etc., from coupling direct with microwave energy of waveguide 1, and low-loss dielectric 16 of Teflon, etc., is further provided at one part of sheilding board 15 to prevent a transmission line formed on microwave substrate 2 from coming in electric contact with shielding board 16. Consequently, direct energy coupling between substrate 2 and waveguide 1 can be avoided by shielding to obtain an excellent high-frequency characteristics.
