Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible the direct reading of the squeezee pressure applied on the printed matter during the screen printing, by means of a converter for converting the printing pressure working on the printing base into an electric signal mounted to the printing base support section.
CONSTITUTION: A printing base 2 is fixed on a support member 21 integrating a converter 20 (for instance, a strain gauge) for converting the load into an electric signal. The printing pressure working on the printing base 2 is detected by converting it into an electric signal with the converter 20 and the detection signal is drawn through a lead wire 22. The printing pressure detection signal delivered from the converter 20 is indicated as the printing pressure with a indicator 23 provided on the side of base 1 after electric treatments including signal amplification and level regulation.
EFFECT: The direct reading of the printing pressure makes possible qualitative reproduction of printing conditions, thereby facilitating the standardization of the printing process.
