Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the setting of sheets keeping the minute gap between the drum and the confronting member by forming a groove on the drum and providing infeed rollers and a guide at the front of the drum and a transfer member including a belt.
CONSTITUTION: When setting a new record sheet 5, its forward end is inserted between infeed rollers 8 at the front of a donor drum 3 and then guided so as to strike a receiver 10 by a guide 11 of a groove 9 on the donor drum 3 located at the position confronting to a multi-needle recording electrode 4. Upon rotation of the donor drum 3, the forward end of the record sheet 5 is apart from the groove 9 formed to have an obtuse angle and set in a minute gap between the drum 3 and the multi-needle recording electrode 4. Then, it is fed out by a guide plate 12 and a transfer belt 14 while being attracted by the action of negative pressure in the closed space therein. Thus, the drum 3 and the electrode 4 can be provided at the fixed positions so that the gap therebetween is held at high accuracy.
