Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a forming device which is designed capable of preventing a bottom plate layer being formed from being reduced in thickness in such a manner that movable top and bottom plates are provided in a forming frame of a surface plate and a film surface which corresponds to the bottom plate being formed is cooled by being caught between the top and bottom plate.
CONSTITUTION: A preheated film 4 is fed into a forming area, and then, the film's outside edge is caught by the bottom surface of a surface plate 5 by raising a forming frame 14. A bottom plate 16, which is left being cooled at all times, is raised and stopped at the bottom of the film 4. With blow-in compressed hot air, the film 4 is formed by being lowered while being caught between the top plate 7 and the bottom plate 16. In is possible, in this mechanism, to prevent the bottom plate of the formed product from becoming thinner as it gets cooled off and solidified.
