The apparatus is an endless rolling chain provided with many bulb holders 15, and each bulb 13 is moved with the heat supported by holders 15 and open edge 16 downward. A plurality of gas burners 17, 17 are arranged at both lower sides of a predetermined zone of the bulb conveying path of the apparatus, and edge 16 of moving bulb 13 is glazed by heating with burners 17, 17.
