Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a low m.p. glass composition for coating especially on a glass substrate such as a glass ware or a glass plate by forming ≥98mol% of a composition except water with a specified amount of SiO2, B2O3, TiO2+ZrO2, Na2O+ Li2O and fluoride.
CONSTITUTION: This low m.p. glass composition has a composition ≥98mol% of which except water consists of, by mol, 30W50% SiO2, 15W35% B2O3, 5W25% TiO2+ZrO2, 18W23% Na2O+Li2O and 8W12% fluoride (as F2). The TiO2 content is adjusted to ≤8%, and the ratio of Li2O to Na2O is 0.25W4% Li2O to 1% Na2O. This glass composition can be baked on some substrate as well as a glass substrate.
