Abstract
PURPOSE: To make pouring of a reducing agent and the formation of a catalyst layer unnecessary and stabilize the denitrification work by a method wherein exhaust gas containing NOx and a hydrocarbon series gas fuel are mixed beforehand and the combustion is effected with an air amount less than a logical air amount.
CONSTITUTION: In case this combustion method is carried out in a boiler plant, a part of exhaust gas produced in a combustion device 19 is supplied into a combustion chamber 20 through an exhaust gas supplying tube 1b and the remained exhaust gas is supplied to a burner 6a. In this case, combustion air is supplied through a supplying tube 5e and is mixed with a gas for combustion from a supplying tube 3a beforehand, further, intermediate products produced by a low oxygen combustion are burnt by secondary air from a supplying tube 5d. Here, an air ratio for the combustion is controlled so as to be less than 0.75, further, the air ratio in a premixed combustion system is controlled so as to be less than about 0.7 while the same in a difusion combustion system is controlled so as to be less than 0.65. Thus, the combustion is effected with the air amount less than the logical air amount to promote the removal of the NOx constituent.
