Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to judge if suitable amount of light required for charge is obtained, by setting the resistance value of a variable resistor according to illuminated time at an installation, and connecting it in parallel with the drive circuit of a clock through a switch. CONSTITUTION:In selecting the location of a clock, first average illumination time of light a day for the location is set with a knob B. When the switch S is set as shown in Figure and a parallel connection of a drive circuit A and variable resistor R is connected to a solar cell E1, the drive circuit A is operated with an electromotive force of the solar cell E1 and a motor M is normally driven.
