Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the characteristic and productivity of the cage type rotor by laminating magnetic material plates each of which is provided with a plurality of holes at its periphery in the position of an end ring which is positioned at the inner side in the axial direction of double end rings. CONSTITUTION:Each of the magnetic material plates 51 has at its periphery a plurality of holes provided at a suitable pitch. A desired number of plates 51 form respective sets, and the positions of holes are suitably shifted prior to aluminum die casting, the plates 51 being electrically connected to the second end ring 25A of conductors 21 within the slots, and with respect to the circumferential direction a current passages being formed to provide first end ring 24A. Further, the laminated plates 51 are made correspondent to a cylindrical magnetic material. The size of the above hole 52 is selected to be more than two slot pitches of the rotor slot 23. Since such construction is performed by punching single-plates in the same configuration, laminating and pressing them, assembling and clamping thereof are carried out easily and satisfactorily. Accordingly, the characteristic and productivity of the rotor can be improved.
