Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide high performance under simple constitution by detecting the power generation voltage which generates on a 2-phase coil and controlling electric current as a current circulation switching means so that a signal of current detecting section may become a value corresponding to the power generation voltage signal. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 containing effective N pole and S pole and magnetic field having nonmagnetic pole and a stator 7 containing 2-phase coils 8, 9 interlinking magnetic flux generated by magnetic field constitute the electric motor. In addition, a switchover section 14 which changes the current circulation path to the 2-phase coils 8, 9 by means of a hall element 10 is provided. At the same time, the power generation voltage detection section 12 and a current detection section 13 of the 2-phase coils 8, 9 are provided. Its signal is input to a current control section 11 to control the circulating current in a current circulation switching section 14. Consequently it is possible to simplify the constitution with reduced number of phases and provide high performance through detection of coil's power generation voltage.
