Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the electret filter from which no dust is scattered and which is high in dust collection efficiency and long in lifetime, by stacking creased electret films with flat electret films. CONSTITUTION:A high-molecular film of polyolefin resin or the like is changed into the electret film 1. The electret film is continually bent so that creases 2 are made. Such creased electret films are stacked with flat electret films 4 in the direction of their thickness. The edges of the creases are bonded or fused to the flat films 4 so that a stacked piece 5 is provided. The filter made of the stacked piece does not flap in operation. No dust is scattered from the filter. The dust collection efficiency of the filter is high for a long period.
