Abstract
PURPOSE: To change heavy clay soil into granules and to enlarge the cultivating area, by treating the soil with an inorganic acid.
CONSTITUTION: Heavy clay soil is treated with an inorganic acid (preferably phosphoric acid), preferably with a neutralizing material (e.g., calcium silicate, calcium carbonate, etc.). A preferably amount of the inorganic acid is 5W100mg based on 100g dry soil and an amount of the neutralizing material is preferably in its equivalent ratio MO (M is alkaline earth metal) to the inorganic acid of 0.8W 1.5.
