Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact and inexpensive air conditioner for an automobile by a method wherein there are contained a mode-change-over damper, a heat core and an air mixing damper in a cylindrical case. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a hot air hole 11, a defroster air hole 12 and a vent hole 13 on the circumference of a cylindrical case 1 and, moreover, an approximately semi-cylindrical heat core 14 in the cylindrical case. Further, along the cylindrical case 1 a mode change-over damper 15 is equipped adjustably and rotatively. Furthermore, there is fixed a rotary air-mixing damper 17 along the inside of the semi-cylindrical heat core 14. The air is introduced from the inside of the heat core and flows radially in the cylindrical case 1. Thus, each of the hot air hole 11, the defroster air hole 12, the vent hole 13 can be changed over by a mode change- over damper 15 only.
