Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to connect a pair of levers to a pair of brake shoes, respectively, and install both a spring and a wheel cylinder between the opposed surfaces of the free ends of both levers and between those of both shoes.
CONSTITUTION: Each one end of a pair of brake shoes 3 and 3 is mounted inside a brake drum 1 using a signle anchor pin 4 and the tip of a lever 5 formed on each free end of each shoe 3 is mounted on an arm 7 using a single pin 6, separately. Shoe extension force points 9 mutually opposed and projecting in a space 8 are provided on each free end of the shoes 3 and 3. Each one end of a pair of lever s 16 and 16 which contracts the shoes is mounted inside the shoes 3 and 3 using a pin 17 and shoe contraction force points 20 are provided on the opposed surfaces of each free end of the levers 16 and 16.
