Abstract

PURPOSE: Titled composition which provides molded products having a good color and which is prevented from emitting odors during molding operation even under severe molding conditions, comprising an olefin polymer, an inorganic filler, a dialkylpentaerythritol diphosphite.
CONSTITUTION: To 100pts.wt. of (A) a composition comprising (a) 90W30wt% of an olefin polymer such as PP, MI: 0.01W100g/10min or PE, MI: 0.01W30g/ 10min, density 0.930W0.965, and (b) 10W70wt% of an inorganic filler having an average particle diameter of 0.05W200μ, such as CaCO3 or mica, are added (B) at least 0.02pt.wt., pref., 0.03W0.5pt.wt. of a dialkylpentaerythritol diphosphite of the formula, wherein R1 and R2 are each an 8W30C alkyl, and, if necessary, (C) at least 0.01pt.wt. of a metal salt of a higher fatty acid.
