Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify operation and constitution and improve the accuracy of measurement by using relatively rotatable double cylinders with suction ports and others. CONSTITUTION:An outside cylinder 1 of a closed leading end and an open root end which is opened with plural suction ports 3', 3'' in the circumferential wall over the entire length in a manner as to shift in position in the axial line direction is inserted with an inside cylinder 4 of the similar construction built in with temperature and humidity sensors 13, 14, and these cylinders are made rotatable by way of a bearing 6. With the base end of the outside cylinder 1 held fixed to a transmission box 2, the outside cylinder is inserted into the housing chamber 18 of a flat type drying box 16. Then, if a blower 21, a heat exchanger 22 and a suction vane wheel 12 are driven, the air positioned among the cereals housed in the housing chamber 18 is sucked quickly through the aligned suction ports 3', 11', etc., and is exhausted from the root end side of the inside cylinder 4 to the outside; at the same time, temperature and humidity are displayed in an instrument panel 15 measured by both sensors 13, 14. If the suction ports 3', 11' aligned by the rotation of the inside cylinder 4 are changed, the moisture content of the cereals in an arbitrary piling height is measured easily and quickly.
