Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a very thick spongy material economically, by dispersing a specific spongy material, etc. into a resin solution capable of solidifying it by a wet method, followed by gelation.
CONSTITUTION: A water-insoluble fibrous material or spongy material (e.g., modified polyvinyl alcohol, etc.) having a water absorption ratio not less than twice its own weight is dispersed uniformly into a solution of adhesive resin (e.g., a solution of polyamide resin, etc.) capable of solidifying the material by a wet method, and the material is gellled by a wet method, to give a spongy material with a thickness preferably not less than 3mm.
