Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the surface roughening and the falling-off of the surface of a heat dissipation sheet or a glass-fiber reinforced sheet prepared from a uniform slurry composed of a silicone rubber, boron nitride and a small amount of an organic solvent, by adding a silane coupling agent to the slurry.
CONSTITUTION: In the preparation of a heat dissipation sheet from a slurry composed of a silicone rubber and boron nitride dispersed in an organic solvent, by doctor blade method, etc., 0.2W10pts.wt., pref. 0.5W5pts.wt. of a silane coupling agent, pref. vinyl.tris (β-methoxyethoxy) silane, etc. is added to 100ptw.wt. of boron nitride. The amount of the boron nitride is 0.3W9pts.wt., per 1pt.wt. pref. 3W7pts.wt. of the silicone rubber.
