Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable easy checking by performing checking of the original placement position by the inverted image of the original relieved by the light from the light source placed to the underside of the original.

CONSTITUTION: First, a mask M and original O are superposed and placed on transparent original glass P. Next, a switch 4 is operated to light a light source 2 for checking the original placement position. Then, the inverted image of the original image is relieved by the light radiated from the lower side of the original O and transmitted therethrough. In this case, there is the mask plate M below the original O and therefore the inverted image being relieved is the inverted image of the portion of the original image opposing to the transparent original glass P by way of a window Ma. Hencec, the operator simply places the original O on the original glass P then actuates the switch 4 and he is able to readily observe the original image opposing to the window Ma of the mask M. If necessary, he may adjuste the position of the original O.
