Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the amount of heat, by a method wherein a furniture, such as zabutons (Japanese cushion), is heated by passing combustion gas from a heating device through a metal can placed in the furniture.
CONSTITUTION: In case a convection type oil heater 1 is used as a heating device, a heat collection plate 2 is placed above the heater 1. A can body 16, built into a furniture (not shown), such as zabutons (Japanese cushion), is covered with a thermal insulation material 19, an outer cloth material or a surface material 20. One end is connected to a duct 9, and the other is coupled to a motor fan 14 through a duct 11 and an air suction port 12. Combustion gas and heated air through the duct 9 from the heat collection plate 2 are flown through the can body 16 by means of the motor fan 14, and the can body 16 is kept at an appropriate temperature by controlling a temperature of exhaust gas at the air suction port 12. This permits the effective use of the amount of heat, which is not utilized hitherto, of combustion of the heating device.
