Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a heat exchanger for heating a gas containing acidic gas by coating the outer peripheral surface of a heat exchange pipe with an anticorrosive resin lining, and fitting tubular plates and handles applied with anticorrosive resin linings to the heat exchange pipe through buffering rings.
CONSTITUTION: The outer periphery of a U-shaped pipe 3 is coated with an anticorrosive lining 4. Tubular plates 5 and handles 7 having surfaces contacting with a corrosive fluid to be heated are coated with an anticorrosive resin lining 6 which are fitted in the U-shaped pipe 3 through buffering rings 8. As anticorrosive resin linings 4 and 6 for said purpose, used are vinylidene fluoride, teflon and the like. By said structure, steam is caused to flow into the U-shaped pipe, and a substance be heated contg. an acidic gas, such as SO3, HCl is caused to flow to the outer periphery of the pipe. Accordingly, a heat exchanger for heating a corrosive gas, causing small vibration noise can be obtained simply and easily.
