Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent sheets cut out of a roll paper and received in a receiving box from detective stack due to curling trend of the sheets by providing flanges on transfer rollers to form folds on edges of the sheet.
CONSTITUTION: Blanks 13 cut into sheets are sandwiched between upper and lower transfer rollers 12, 10 to be transferred to a receiving box 15. The outer diameters of rolls 12a, 12b are set equal and the outer diameters of rolls 10a, 10b also equal. The rolls 12a are provided on the end edges with flanges 12c for folding and guiding the sheets. Side edges 13a of the blank 13 are folded about 5mm downwards to give a reinforcement to the blank. The fold prevents the blank from remaining curl and defective stack.
