Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent cracks and coil disconnections while aligning a molded resign frame motor shaft by a method wherein the aligning is performed by applying vibration to bearing brackets by means of a shaft aligning member. CONSTITUTION:In an electric motor with the stator iron core 2 and stator winding 3 resin-molded together to form the casing 4, the shaft aligning member 13 is placed lengthwise in contact with the bracket 5. Vibration is then applied to the shaft aligning member 13 by such a vibrating means 14 as a pneumatic power hammer to effect fine alignment between the rotor 9 and stator 1. This keeps the molded casing 4 free of cracks or stator winding 3 discontinuity because the molded layers are not directly exposed to vibration.
