Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a separation of a mixed fuel of alcohol and gasoline by surrounding the outer wall of the fuel tank and heating the fuel tank during the operation of the engine to heat the mixed fuel within the tank.
CONSTITUTION: Duering the operation of the engine, a heater 13a is supplied with power by the closing of an ignition switch 16 so as to make a heating device generate heat, thereby heating the mixed fuel 3 within a tack body 2. At the same time, the heat is accumulated in a heat accumulator 14. By this, during the operation of the engine, the mixed fuel 3 is maintained at a predetermined temperature so as to prevent the separation of the alcoholic component and gasoline component due to a decrease in the temperature of the mixed fuel. When the engine is inoperative, the heat accumulated in the heat accumulator 14 keeps the mixed fuel at a relatively high temperature so as to prevent the temperature fall. Thus, the separation of the mixed fuel can be properly prevented also during the engine stop.
