Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve workability of concrete depositing in waters, by sinking and placing a baglike body on the soft ground and depositing concrete material into the body from above the sea surface.
CONSTITUTION: When a concrete layer is to be formed on the soft ground 1 consisting mainly of sludges, a preventive baglike body 2 is first to be sunk and placed on the soft ground 1. The body has a number of small hole 4 for water passage in the vertical directions, an opening 3 for concrete flow-in on the upper surface and an iron frame 5 on the outer side thereof. Then an end part of a feed pipe 7 of a concrete pump 6 mounted on a ship is connected to the opening 3, and the baglike body 2 is filled with concrete materials by driving the pump 6. Then the concrete materials are hardened in the baglike body 2 to become a concrete layer, which is to be used as a foundation on which a structure is to be built.
