Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a subject board which has a varied embossed pattern and is excellent in an adiabatic property, by a method wherein a plurality of large and small holes are provided in a surface sheet, each hole is then covered with a colored film which is larger than the hole corresponding to it and has a plurality of small holes at a periphery thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of large and small holes are provided in a surface sheet, and each hole is covered with a colored film which is larger than the hole corresponding to it and has a plurality of small holes at a periphery thereof. Urethane resin foam is then foamed and cured at the reverse side of the surface sheet placed in a mold frame to obtain a construction board having an embossed pattern. For example, holes 2, which have optional shapes and large and small patterns, are punched in the surface sheet 1 by means of a punching press, and each hole 2 is then covered with a colored synthetic resin film 4, which is larger than the hole corresponding to it, at the reverse side of the surface sheet 1. A hard urethane resin foam 6 is poured into the reverse side of the surface sheet 1 placed at an insertion concavity 10 in a mold frame 5, and is then foamed and cured to unite monolithically the surface sheet 1 and both side strips 7.
