Abstract

PURPOSE: To stably drive a mower on a rough slope in a forest or other locations by enabling to lift up or down front and rear wheels by means of a parallelogram link mechanism joined to the front end of a chassis, and a hydraulic cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A basic chassis S of a cubic frame consists of upper and lower parallel members 1, 2 running forwards and backwards, transverse members and longitudinal members. Square frames 3 are overhung from both the outer sides of the lower frames 2. A driving shaft 4 is beared 5 at the rear frame of the chassis S. One end of each suspending rod 6, 6' is pivotally held on the driving shaft 4 and the other end is secured to a rear wheel 7.
