Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the sag of trolley line at its middle position by a construction wherein one position of the trolley line is fixed by a fixing insulator and the tightening insulator located at the far position from said position is energized by a spring to the direction of the fixing insulator.
CONSTITUTION: The trolley line 1 is fixed suspendedly with constant tension by tightening fittings (not shown) connected at its both ends and slidably supported by the hanger 2 fixed on a bracket 3. Approximately at the center of its whole length, the trolley line is fixed by the fixing insulator 10 to the appointed place of a separate structure and the tightening insulator 12 is provided at the location apart from the fixing insulator 10. The support 11 fixed to the separate structure is provided with a tightening bolt 28 and a spring means 13. According to this construction, the tightening insulator 12 is energized to the direction of the fixing insulator 10 to give the predetermined tension to the trolley line 1. An expansion joint 14 stands between the arranged positions of the insulators 10 and 12.
