Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the resin pellets efficiently by a method wherein the pressurized fluid is intermittently jetted toward an extrusion orifice of a melt extrusion die for resins so as to cut and blow away the melt of the resin being extruded. CONSTITUTION:A jetting hole 6 is provided for jetting the pressurized fluid toward the tip end of the extrusion orifice 2 bored in a pelletizing die 1 fitted to the tip end of an extruder for thermoplastic resin. The pressurized fluid is intermittently jetted from an intermittent pressure converter 4 to the orifice 6 through a conduit 7 and a pressure conducting hole 5 so that the melt 2 of the resin being extruded is intermittently cut and blown away by the jet of the pressurized fluid.
