Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the data processing possible without reduction of the effect dependent upon advance control, by performing the data processing without stop of the I/O control unit connected to the channel control unit in case that error is detected in advance readout data.
CONSTITUTION: When error is detected in advance readout data by data check circuit 9 of channel control unit 2, an address which does not agree with the address transferred from I/O control unit 3 certainly is generated by fixed pattern generating circuit 15 and so on. The system is so constituted that advance readout data where error exists is not used, and data is read from main memory unit 1 by the address transferred from unit 3. As the result, even if error exists in advance readout data, the data processing can be performed without stop of the I/O control unit, and the data processing can be performed without reduction of the effect dependent upon advance control.
