Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise operability for connection of electrode plate groups of adjacent cells at a plurality of positions at the upper and lower parts by fabricating the electrode plate groups by biasing intercell connectors with projections toward any direction of upward or downward directions. CONSTITUTION:Electrode plate groups are inserted into a battery cell having openings on both up and down sides and cell partition walls and at two positions of the upper and lower parts, cells are connected to each other. In this case, the projections 5a and 5b are formed by biasing toward any side of the upper intercell connectors 5 and 6 and the lower intercell connectors 8 and 9. Thus, the electrode plate groups can be easily inserted into the battery cell from the other connectors 8 and 9 provided with hole.
