Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure charging conditions with good accuracy by one measuring electrode plate by a measuring method in which the capacity of any one of the main positive and negative electrodes for charging and discharging is made larger and an electrode plate for measuring charging conditions is used. CONSTITUTION:The inside of the cell 1 housed with the main positive and negative electrodes 2 and 3, wherein the capacity of the negative electrode is made larger than that of the positive electrode plate, is provided with the positive electrode plate 4 for measuring charging conditions. The positive plate 4 is connected to the switch 5, the main positive plate 2 is connected to one contact a1 of the switch 5, and the other contact a2 of the switch 5 is connected with the other end of the voltage measuring circuit 7 consisting of a series circuit for the voltmeter 6 and the discharge resistor R, whose one end is connected to the main negative electrode plate 3. And, the said positive plate 4 for measuring charging conditions is connected through the switch 5 to the main positive plate 2 and also to the voltage measuring circuit 7. Thus, by operating the switch 5, the positive plate 4 for measuring charging conditions can be connected to the main positive plate 2 or the voltage measuring circuit 7.
