Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate a low-frequence converted color signal whose cross-talk component has been removed, by mixing the low-frequency converted color signal and the output of a variable delay circuit in one by providing the variable delay circuit whose delay amount is variable in accordance with the time-axis variation of the low-frequency converted color signal. CONSTITUTION:Clock-pulse generator 43, supplied with error signals generated by APC circuit 36 and AFC circuit 37, generates a clock pulse that has the same time- axis variation as that included in low-frequency converted color signal Cc'. Low- frequency converted color signal Cc has a carrier frequency of (44-1/4)fh and phase inversion of every 2H is performed by a component of fh/4 (fh is a horizontal frequency). Low-frequency converted color signal Cc' and the output of delay circuit 41 providing 2H delay are supplied to subtracter 42 to cancel a cross-talk component, so that converted color signal Cc whose cross talk has been removed can be obtained.
