Abstract
PURPOSE:To cope even with a high speed change of the gain such as a change of the gain for each transmitting pulse repetition period by making up an open loop control circuit so that the control error may become a prscribed value within time of the pulse width of a pilot pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:The AGC circuit is turned from an open loop state to a closed loop state at the leading edge of the pilot pulse. An error signal Ve between the output Vd of a detector 12 and a reference value Vr is obtained as an output of a detector 13, and a loop filter 15 amplifies the error signal Ve with the gain and time constant by which a fixed closed loop response state can be realized. Its output Vs is applied to the gain control circuit 16 as a gain control signal Vg through a sample hold circuit 14, and the gain control is performed until the difference between the output Vd of the detector 12 and the reference value Vr, that is, a control error becomes a prescribed value. In this way, the device can be made cope even with a high speed change of the gain.
