Abstract

PURPOSE:To feed only the cereal grains having been surely removed of foreign materials and sized to a moisture measuring vessel and make highly accurate moisture measurement possible by providing a cereal flow plate of a crest shape permitting movement and adjustment of its position to the screening wind path below a cereal grain conveying trough. CONSTITUTION:The cereal grains (unhulled rice) supplied to a cereal grain conveying through 6 flows down by the effect of a vibrator 5 and is wind-screened in a screening wind path 13A as the outside air is flowed in through a wind feed window 7 and is flowed out into a wind suction window 8 by an exhaust fan 11. The immature grains are dropped along the outer wall surface 9B of a cereal flow plate 9 by wind force and flows down into a discharge path 15 for immature grains. Dusts, straw dust, etc. are sucked into the wind suction window 8 and are discharged to a cyclone 10. The sized cereals having been wind-screened fall to the inside wall surface 9A of the plate 9 and flows into a moisture measuring vessel 14. The plate 9 is movable and adjustable of its position by a control device 33. Hence, the moisture is measured with high accuracy.
