Abstract

PURPOSE: To sort transcribing materials positively by preventing the formation of slackness in a conveyor belt in a small space region by using a plurality of slackness absorbing means effectively.
CONSTITUTION: Transcribing materials, which are discharged from a copying machine body 1 and discharged into a sorter 3 from a transcribing material receiving port 4, are held by a driving belt 20a in the lower sections, pushed and held by a driving endless belt 6 from an upper section, put under curved conditions and being carried. The transcribing materials are turned upward at an angle of approximate 90° along a guide 8 when they reach a roller 15, and the transcribing materials reaching a vertical carrying section 9 are pushed and held between a driving belt 10 suspended between rollers 22, 23 and the belt 6, and being carried upward under curved conditions. The transcribing materials are turned by means of a turning guide 11 and a sorting roller 12, and sent into trays 13.
