Abstract

PURPOSE: To apply a magnetic adhesive uniformly onto a shaft, by forming the brush of the magnetic adhesive onto a sleeve which rotates relatively to a magnet, and sliding the heated rotary shaft against the brush.
CONSTITUTION: When a magnetic adhesive 1 is fed from a hopper 2 arranged above a rotary sleeve 5 onto the sleeve 5, the adhesive 1 is carried on the sleeve 5 along its rotating direction by both of the magnetic adsorption with a magnet 3 and the rotation of the sleeve 5, so as to form the brush 8 of the adhesive 1 on the sleeve 5. A shaft 6 arranged adjacent to the sleeve 5, being heated with a heater 7, is rotationally slid onto the brush 8 along the direction shown as the arrow C, so that a powdery adhesive constituting the adhesive 1 is melted and fused onto the shaft 6 uniformly.
