Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain nearly the continuous sine waves by immediately switching the oscillator to the backup sine wave oscillator in case the fault of the sine wave oscillating circuit is detected by the logic sum of the output of the comparator and the one-shot circuit. CONSTITUTION:The full wave rectification is given to the output of sine wave oscillator 2, and then the output of oscillator 2 is compared 5 with the level set by level setter 4. Thus the value exceeding te set level is detected, and the inversed signal of the output of comparator 5 is applied to one-shot circuit 7. Both the outputs of circuit 7 and comparator 5 are supplied to logic sum circuit 8. And in case oscillator 2 has the normal oscillation, analog gate 10 is turned on to extract the output. Gate 10 is turned off when oscillator 2 discontinues the oscillation. Then analog gate 11 is turned on via NOT circuit 9, and oscillator 2 is switched to sine wave oscillator 1. In other words, the fault of the sine wave oscillator is detected immediately to perform the switching from the using side oscillator to the backup oscillator. In such way, nearly the continuous sine waves can be obtained.
