Abstract
PURPOSE:To give an amplitude modulating function where Dc components are not changed even if an amplitude control input is changed, by obtaining a sine wave output which changes the amplitude in proportion to the amplitude control input. CONSTITUTION:Variable resistors 11 and 12 are provided for adjustment of a modulation degree, and the output potential V1 of an operational amplifier 1 is determined by adjustment of their resistance values directly. That is, the circuit around the operational amplifier 1 is an adding circuit for outputs VA' and VS of variable resistors 11 and 12, and the output potential V1 is expressed by an expression 1 and changes in accordance with VA' or in proportion to an amplitude control input VA. In respect to the output potential V4 of an operational amplifier 2, when respective collector potentials of transistors 22 and 23 are denoted as V2 and V3 and resistance values of a variable resistor 20, a resistor 21, and resistors 17 and 19 are denoted as R1, R2 and R3 respectively, V4 is expressed by an expression 2. This signal V4 has haigh frequency components cut by LPFs cascaded in two stages, and a sine wave output signal V0 is obtained from the output terminal of an operational amplifier 4.
