Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable far infrared color absorbing phytochrome coloring matter only to undergo effective light irradiation, by coating a fluorescent lamp with a mixture made up of not less than two sorts of phosphor. CONSTITUTION:The inner wall of a tube is coated with a mixture of not less than two sorts of phosphor. The ratio of the emission energy distribution at a wavelength of 380-580nm to that at a wavelength of 690-800nm is restricted to 1:5-3:1. The emission amount at wavelength smaller than 380nm and in the range of 600- 690nm is made below 5% of the entire emission amount of the lamp. The phosphor mixture contains at least one phosphor which is activated, for example, by iron.
