Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid an excessive correction of the automatic equalizer or the dispersion of the system, by inhibiting the addition of the amount of error to the corrected value in case the amount of error sent out from the discriminator is excessive to exceed a fixed level. CONSTITUTION: A big change occurs to the output of adder 5 in case a sudden change arises, and this amount of change differs extremely from the ideal value. Thus a large amount of error is sent to the output of discriminator 6. This is decided abnormal by deciding circuit 11, and the signal is sent to the output of circuit 11. As a result, timer circuit 12 is driven to give the inhibition mode to gate circuit 10. The disturbance of the transmission line is recovered, and the received data is returned to the normal state. Thus the amount of error sent from discriminator 6 is reduced, and then circuit 11 stops the transmission of the output signal.
