Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the control of the quantity of transferred heat, by connecting the heat incoming part of a heat pipe with an injection pipe fitted with a working medium injection quantity control valve, connecting the heat outgoing part of the heat pipe with a steam bleeder pipe fitted with a pressure control valve and regulating the pressure in the heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: When the temperature of a heating fluid which passes through a heat incoming part 3 rises and the quantity of evaporation increases and the pressure in a heat pipe rises, the boiling temperature of a working medium 5 goes up and the quantity of transferred heat increases. As a result, the pressure control valve 6 of a steam exhaust pipe 8 is opened to bleed a part of steam out of the pipe 1 to reduce the pressure in the pipe, lower the boiling temperature of the working medium 5 and keep the quantity of transferred heat constant. The decreased working medium 5 is replenished by opening a working medium injection quantity control valve 7. This results in controlling the quantity of heat transferred through the heat pipe.
