Abstract
PURPOSE: The addition of thiazolylbenzimidazole and fatty acid esters gives said fluid suspension composition that shows high stability during storage for a long period of time and is used as a preservative for agricultural products.
CONSTITUTION: Said composition contains (A) about 5W70, preferably about 15W 55wt% of 2-(4-thiazolyl)-benzimidazole, (B) 0.1W10, preferably about 0.5W6wt% of at least one selected from the group consisting of monoglycerides of saturated or unsaturated fatty acids of 8W22 carbon atoms, propylene glycol monoesters of fatty acids, sorbitol fatty acid esters and their ethylene oxide adducts, sucrose fatty acid esters and lecithin, (C) 0.05W10wt% of a water-soluble thickener such as gelatin or xanthane gum and (D) a balancing amount, preferably about 30W80wt% of water.
