Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the mirror driving device of sure operation and less number of parts by so constituting the device that the screw bars revolved by a drive motor are moved forward and backward by the nut action of engaging members, by which a mirror is tilted.
CONSTITUTION: The 1st screw bar 14 is formed superposedly with the left-handed screw and right-handed screw of the same pitch and the 2nd screw bar 15 is formed with only the right-handed or left-handed screw. Spring members 18, 19 are engaged as nuts with the respective screw bars 14, 15. When a solenoid 25 is energized, the engagement of the spring member 18 for the 1st screw bar 14 is changed over from the right-handed screw threads to the left-handed screw threads. With such constitution, the forward and backward run controlling of a drive motor 7 and the energizing and deenergizing controlling of the solenoid 25 are accomplished by switch operations, causing the screw bars 14, 15 to be moved forward and backward by the nut action of the engaging members 18, 19 and letting a mirror 4 be tilted in a desired direction with a support mechanism 6a as a fulcrum. In this way, the mirror may be surely driven with the simple constitution.
