Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a timer which is able to obtain correct photographing density with simple constitution by correcting the X-ray output integrated value transmitted through the subject by the integrated value of the value corresponding to the actual image pickup tube voltage thereby controlling the exposure stop of X-rays.
CONSTITUTION: The value detecting the X-rays transmitted through the subject by an X-ray detector 1 is integrated by the 1st integrator 3, after which it is corrected by the integrated value of the value corresponding to the tube voltage in a linear relation with the film density D detected by the tube voltage detector 9 of an image pickup unit body ES outputted by the 2nd integrator 11. This is then compared in a comparator 7 in which the value corresponding to a predetermined density value by a density setter 6 has been set, whereby the stop of X-ray exposure is controlled by way of the switch 8 of the unit ES. This provides the photo timer which is able to obtain always correct exposure density even when an X-ray radiographic apparatus of which the tube voltage fluctuates with time when X-rays are exposed continuously is used.
