Abstract
PURPOSE: To discriminate a station by a mechanism wherein two marks are disposed parting only by a specified distance in front of the station, and the distance between the marks is measured at the car side.
CONSTITUTION: A mark 3 for starting the counting of a counter and a mark 4 for stopping the counting of the counter are disposed parting only by a distance L in front of a station. A specified value corresponding to the station is assigned to the distance L. When a bus 2 approaches the station, a counter 10 starts the calculation of pulses by a pulse pickup 12 of an axle by detecting signals from the mark 3 of a detector 6, and stops the counting by detecting signals from the mark 4 of a detector 7. Station codes are discriminated by the measuring result and the discriminating result is put out into a controller, the necessity of the stopping of the car is discriminated with the detecting signals of stopping marks 5, and the car is stopped when the station needs stoppage.
