Abstract

PURPOSE: To exercise excellent liquid-level control by exercising control over the opening-closing of a pilot valve within the broad range of a liquid level and also to prevent a main valve from being unstable by holding the main valve fully open or fully closed.
CONSTITUTION: Pilot valve 25 is so activated that the pilot valve seat will be closed by fluid pressure; and float arm 27 transferring the movement of float 17 and pilot valve lever 24 which moves synchronizing with valve 25 are engated with certain play. According to the lowering of float 17 depending upon a liquid-level drop in a liquid tank, spring 25 increases opening pressure to valve 25 and spring 43 applies opening force to valve 25 with spring force less than that of spring 34. Consequently, opening-closing control over valve 25 is carried out within the broad range of the liquid level and the main valve is held fully open or fully closed to prevent the main valve from being unstable, so that excellent liquid-level control can be exercised.
