Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The best pH value for coagulation-settling of the hydrated matter of industrial waste water has its upper-limited and lower-limited set values determined by a jar test. Then, the obtained values are set by pH setting switch 7; when the pH value of processed water is within the set range, the value is considered to be a reference value and when not, one pH value within the range is regarded as the reference value. Then, alkali-agent injection-rate determining circuit 11 determines the rate of injection on the basis of the deviation of the pH value of feed water before process from the reference value. Further, how much sludge is bred in the intervals of detected-sludge drainage is detected and corresponding to a difference between the best pH value and a desired pH value obtained by circuit 11, injection-rate correcting circuit 14 makes correction increasing the change rate of the desired pH value, so that the best pH control can be exercised.
