Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate multistage constitution and eliminate sliding portions from a blade and a cylinder, by providing one or plural intermediate cylinders between a cylinder and a rotary shaft and implanting the blade in the rotary shaft so that the blade extends through the intermediate cylinder and can slide and swing.
CONSTITUTION: When a rotary shaft 2 is rotated clockwise, a working fluid in a blade chamber 25 defined by a cylinder 1, an intermediate cylinder 4 and a blade 3 is compressed and discharged through an outlet port 18 and another working fluid is sucked into another blade chamber 26 through an inlet port 16. When the blade 3 reaches an upper half part, a working fluid in another blade chamber 27 is discharged through another outlet port 19 and another working fluid is sucked into the blade chamber 27 through another inlet port 17. At that time, the cylinder 1 and the intermediate cylinder 4 slide in grooves 10, 11, 12, 13 provided in side members 5, 6. According to this constitution, sliding portions can be eliminated from the tip of the blade 3 and the cylinder 1. Such a machine can be utilized as a two-stage pump or compressor if the inlet port 17 and the outlet port 18 are connected to each other.
