Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit parts to be easily attached to a section assembled by automatically adjusting height relationship between said section with specified orientation and operative body for incorporating said parts according to height data.
CONSTITUTION: When a pin (one of parts) 8 is knocked into a shaft (moving body) 6 of a motor (mechanism body) 1 for a fan, the motor 1 is provided with the shaft 6 mounting a rotor 5, and a pin receiving hole (portion to be incorporated) 7 formed perpendicularly to the axis of shaft 6 near an end thereof is directed in a specified direction. Next, an assembly jig 14 holding the motor 1 is transported sequentially from an automatic assembly line to assemble this motor 1 along a transport path 13 through the first station A on which is installed a direction specifying device 18, the second station B on which is installed a height measuring device 19 to the third station C on which is installed a pin knocking device 20.
